SOUTH Korean sensation Goo Hara has died at the age of 28 just a month after her close K-pop star friend Sulli took her own life  Here’s what we know about the tragic star and the circumstances around Goo’s death Who was Goo Hara?  Goo Hara was a musician and actress, best known for performing in K-pop group Kara  She was born on January 13, 1991, in Gwangju, South Korea.  Goo attended Sungshin Women’s University before joining Kara in 2007  The singer – who was also known under the name Hara – went solo in 2015 after the band split with EP Alohara (Can You Feel It?)  Prolific Goo also acted in the TV drama City Hunter, playing the daughter of South Korea’s president, as well as starring in her own reality TV show  She was known to be close with pals with tragic star, Sulli, 25, who died in October 2019 after being targeted by trolls  Goo died at the age of 28 on November 24, 2019.
