Tropical Storm Dorian: 11 p.m. Monday update

TRIANGLE ABOUT 1 DEGREE WARMER THAN TODAY, 79 OR 80 DEGREES WITH MID TO UPPER 70s ALONG THE VIRGINIA BORDER. LET’S SPEND SOME TIME TALKING ABOUT DORIAN IT’S STILL A TROPICAL STORM THE HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT OUT THERE RIGHT NOW IS A GETS READY TO MOVE INTO THE CARIBBEAN. THEY ARE BASED OUT OF CURAGAO IT’S NOT A BAD ASSIGNMENT OBVIOUSLY CLOSER TO WHERE THEY NEED TO BE BEEN FLYING ALL THE WAY FROM THE U.S. THE BIG HEADLINE IS THAT THE STORM IS WEEKEND WINDS ARE 50 MILES PER HOUR. THE HURRICANE HUNTER ARE OUT THERE COLLECTING INFORMATION THEY WILL FEED INTO THESE MONDAY NIGHT COMPUTER MODELS. IT’S A CLOSE CONSENSUS THAT THIS WILL COME AROUND PUERTO RICO OR THE DOMINICA REPUBLICAN AND DOING SOME WIGGLING THROUGH THE BAHAMAS AND THEN ON TO FLORIDA. THE OFFICIAL TRACK FROM THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER WILL STRENGTHEN IT TO A HURRICANE WEDNESDAY AND THEN WE CAN IT AS IT PASSES OVER THE MOUNTAIN ASSIGNMENTS AND STRENGTHEN IT AGAIN AS AND HEADS TOWARD FLORIDA SATURDAY. THERE’S A CENTER LINE IN RED. I WANT TO COMPARE THAT TO THE LINE FROM THE 5:00 ADVISORY WHERE YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A SHIFT BUT NOTHING SIGNIFICANT AND STILL NO MAJOR IMPACT
