was remembered Monday at a memorial attended by family, friends, local leaders
and Gov. Bill Haslam. The longtime special events director for the City of Knoxville worked in both the Victor Ashe and Haslam administrations. Haslam spoke at the memorial service and joked that Mallonee was the one who actually ran the city. After retirement, she continued planning events and promoting Knoxville.
