  1. So let me get this straight if he killed someone before he doesn't get the death penalty but when you kill a cop it's automatic death squad?

  2. Cant say I fully support this death since they all got killed for one of the shooters pulling the trigger and too many of the few crooked cops that kill get off totally scott free and certainly the entire precinct does NOT go to prison or death row.

  3. why spend our tax dollars on worthless sob's pos trasholes ?! bullets and rope cost much less money than our taxes ! bring back them gallows and them shooting squads and stop wasting tax payers money !

  4. I find it funny how when they kill and are dangerous and bad, but when the people's state kills them that ok, that's justice lol, how hypocritical.

  5. I believe the death penalty is the easy way out for criminals..if it wasn't for tax payers keeping prisons running I'd say let them stay alive but let them suffer in prison and make them do hard labor. Dead he feels nothing and is taken from his misery. Hell as eternal punishment for him remains to be seen IF we can ever really know so death is relief! That SUCKS!!

  6. To everyone saying "he didnt pull the trigger" – well thats true. He didnt kill the officer. But he was already in prison FOR MURDERING someone else. thats when he escaped and the cop died. This guy was indeed a killer.

  7. Joseph Garcia has changed a lot. And it is also true that his crime has not been proved 100%. Under this circumstances we would like to request to spare his life. He should rather be sentenced to life imprisonment if he is not allowed to go home unopposed.

  8. Don't waste electricity. Gasoline and a match is cheaper. Why tf it takes so long to put these….. low lifes ( I don't want to insult animals) to death is beyond me.

  9. Coca Cola bling , do you respect the cops that kill innocent people on a regular basis? If so I’d like to hear your stance.

  10. I REALLY HOPE THE JUDGE THAT SENTENCE HIM TO DIE BECAUSE A CO DEFENDER DESIDED TO KILL A COP HAVE A SLOW N PAINFUL DEATH WHEN SATIN INVITES HIM HOME…THESE PEOPLE ARE THE DEVIL BECAUSE THEY LIVE EVERYDAY LIKE IT'S NORMAL AWAITING TO KILL SOMEONE WITH A CONSCIENCE…JUDGES AND D.A'S IS AS EVIL AS THEY COME,THEY WILL BE JUDGE AND BURNED N THE LAKE….

  11. Garcia has a bloody nerve to file an appeal. Why are they wasting tax money? Kill them already. The county is responsible for the officer's death.

  12. They should all be put to death for first degree murder of a police officer. The law clearly states that if you commit a crime and someone is killed in commission of said crime, then you are guilty of murder.

  13. If you kill a cop you should die for it. You were there part and parcel of the crime. You have to pay the price.

  14. Jossep Garcia had a rought live, his mother a puertorican was a drug addict and he was rise in the street, he was a national coast guard, and has a beautiful daugther with some nurse in san antonio, now he never shot that cops, and cops kill innocent people all the time.

  15. Prison should be a place for thieves only but keeping murderers alive with long sentences that doesn’t make sense,,,if those murderers, rapists & child molesters were executed after their sentences, this problem wouldn’t happen

  16. Why Texas? Prisoners should avoid escaping from jail so as not to worsen situations. And Justice should be always fair. Whether an officer or a civilian, let all get equal Justice.

  17. so one cop got killed no different from a cop killing an innocent person do these thugs get the same treatment hell no thay can kill u and no justice is served

  18. How can you kill a man didn’t kill anybody, the law of parties is unconstitutional and unfair. No man should die for another man’s crime, he may need life rather then die for a crime he didn’t commit. Pls.

  19. the sentence should be carried out within one year of the trial. The defence attorneys should only receive pay for twelve months than either have to work for free or give up the case. The amount of trials and appeals would fall dramatically if this was the case. 14 years on DR is absurd and a travesty of the appeals system.

  20. He killed an innocent man…cop or not…he killed him…he was there…I hope there is a hell…..cause that's where he is headed…

  21. Love the constant low IQ comments regarding "crooked"cops…I've never had a single run in with a cop that wasn't friendly. By the way. How do you get arrested. What utter stupidity do you have to commit?

  22. Maybe if those 7 violent dangerous criminals had been executed for their crimes soon after conviction, this wouldn't have happened.

  23. What if u either catch a ride with someone or just in the car they walk in Rob a store and kill someone u didn't know that they were gouging to commit murder means they excute u in tx.

  24. To be convicted of murder a defendant must do an act with the requisite intention. The law of parties as applied here seems to do away with the necessary elements for a murder conviction to stand. However, under this law of parties a defendant just has to be present while the offence took place. He need not engage in the act nor have an intention to murder, he will still be guilty of murder. If the classic definition of the offence of murder was applied here, it seems to me Garcia could never be found guilty of murder. In fact it would be difficult to hold any one or more of these defendants guilty of murder not know who was responsible for the fatal shot(s). So In my opinion the law of parties is for expedience. A number of defendants commit a murder, the state cannot determine exactly who killed the victim, every one must die.
In this case it appears to be how the law of parties was used.

  25. San Antonio is super close to the Mexican border and a few of them are of Mexican heritage.

Why hold up there for a month ?

I'd be over that border into Mexico ASAP, even if the other guys weren't planning to.

I'm sure some Mexican Cartels would have loved their story and employed them, no doubt.
