Rock County animal shelter needs help raising $2.4 million for new location


DOWN A RECOMMENDATION TO LABEL THE CHANCERY AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK. ((ERIC)) A LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER IS LOOKING FOR THE COMMUNITY’S HELP TO BUILD A NEW FACILITY. THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN IS BUILDING A NEW 4.8 MILLION DOLLAR BUILDING IN ROCK COUNTY. THE GROUP STILL NEEDS 2.4 MILLION TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT. IT’S CURRENT LOCATION IN JANESVILLE WAS BUILT IN 19-74 AND DOESN’T HAVE THE in a box truck out back, not in the building at all. New facilities are really going to allow us to do a lot more.” ((ERIC)) THE SHELTER HOPES
