Welcome back, Samantha Luhmann from the Coulee Region Humane Society joins us in studio today. and she brought Ursula. Ursula is a 5-year-old, spayed female who is current on vaccinations. She is a quiet, easygoing and mellow girl who can be shy in new situations. It may take some time before you get to see her cuddly side, but once she warms up she is as cute and snuggly as can be! Ursula will need an experienced cat owner who understands the importance of giving her the time she needs to come out of her shell and help build her confidence. She would most likely do well with other animals given proper introductions. She will do best in a quiet home with older, respectful children. Visit Ursula or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday. The Coulee Region Humane Society will reduce the adoption fees for select cats throughout the month of December. All cats ages three years and older, and all cats of any age housed in the shelter’s Isolation Room – where cats and kittens
who are sick with upper respiratory infections live – are available to adopt for $5 Dec. 1-31. The promotion, established by national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, is aimed at finding forever homes for the many homeless animals in need this holiday season. The humane society takes in stray and surrendered pets every day, the majority of which are cats.
