ON TOP OF THE COLLAPSE THE WEATHER SERVICE CONFIRMED A MICROBURST IN THE AREA. AMY JOINS US LIVE FROM LAWRENCEVILLE TO CHECKING OUT THE DAMAGE. THE CLOSURE OF BUTLER STREET IS IMPACTING A LOT OF PEOPLE. Reporter: IT IS REALLY AFFECTING A LOT OF PEOPLE IN A BUSY SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE SUMMER. WE WANT TO SHOW YOU THE DAMAGE OUT HERE. THE WEATHER SERVICE CONFIRMING A MICROBURST HIT THIS COMMUNITY. OFFICIALS SAYING VIOLENT WEATHER WAS LIKELY THE CULPRIT.>LOOKING AT THE TRAJECTORY OF DEBRIS IT LOOKS LIKE IT WENT FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. YOU CAN SEE THE LIGHTNING. LOOK AT HOW LIMITED THE COVERAGES. THAT WAS ONE CELL. IT DID A LOT OF DAMAGE. MOST PLACES DID NOT GET ANY RAIN TONIGHT. I WILL RUN THAT THROUGH AGAIN. FROM 7 PM IT RAN THROUGH THE CITY AND WENT INTO THE EASTERN SUBURBS. AT 7:30 PM. HE WORKED HIS WAY INTO ARMSTRONG COUNTY AND FELL APART. THAT IS REMARKABLE HOW MUCH DIFFERENT THE WEATHER CAN BE.
