Expanding the Protection of Migrant Children’s Rights in the Americas


Hello, my name is Alejandro Fuentes and I’m a senior researcher at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute here in Lund, Sweden. Today
we will introduce to you our recently released research brief on expanding the
protection of migrant children’s rights in the Americas. Judicial integration of
Regional Human Rights standards. The idea of this brief is precisely to do so, to
expand the protection of children rights through the American Convention of Human
Rights which is the most important instrument for human rights protection in the Americas. By reading its text under the light of the convention of the right of
