Hello I want to share great news. BDA Scotland’s has secured new funding for Deaf Roots and Pride (DRP) Scotland Transitions. The aim is to support Deaf young people aged 8-25 with transition. We are thrilled that this funding will help us to do that for two more years. We will be able to work with young people in schools, planning different activities for them over time. I would really like to thank our two funders; the National Lottery Community Fund and The Robertson Trust. Their funding means we can continue for two years. The DRP project has been successful for three years so far, so we want to carry on our transition work for another two, and support more young people. We are excited about the two years ahead. Keep an eye out for news about what we have got planned I would also like to thank all of the schools, young people and Deaf role models who have supported us over the last three years. There’s plenty more work to come.
