WE NEEDED TO GET THE PUPPIES AND DOGS TO A SAFE LOCATION TO GET THEM OUT OF THOSE CRATES, THEY WERE JUST HEAT TRAPS. Reporter: IN A STATEMENT ON THE SOUTHERN PINES ANIMAL FACEBOOK PAGE THEY WROTE, WE ARE GRIEVING AND DEVASTATED BY THE TERRIBLE ACCIDENT THAT OCCURRED YESTERDAY.   1. This is inexcusable. They should be liable just like any individual owner who "accidentally" let's their dog die in a hot car.
